OUR MISSION STATEMENT

The Cry We Are Called To Answer.

Imagine waking up every day afraid. Afraid to speak. Afraid to fight back. Afraid to flee even if you don’t know if you will survive the night. Millions still suffering from domestic abuse live this reality; trapped by violence, silenced by fear, and abandoned by a system that tells them to “just get out” without giving them the tools to do so.

For too long, society has ignored the terror unfolding in our own neighborhoods; averting eyes, plugging ears, and avoiding the unbearable truth of those suffering just beyond the walls next door.

How many times have we heard the powerless excuse:

“Don’t get involved.”
“It’s not our problem.”
“That’s their family business.”

Even when children are in danger, too many still turn away.

This cold, dismissive behavior must stop. This is not who we are and not who we want to be.

We are unwilling to stand by while screams for help go unanswered.

We have heard their stories; women and children who hid their bruises, whispered their pain, and begged for a way out. What they needed wasn’t just hope for change or escape.

They needed real help: immediate, practical, and effective. Phoenix was built for them.

We are not here to bandage a broken system.
We are here to bridge the gaps and build one that survivors deserve where protection is proactive, support is accessible, and healing leads to independence.

Because safety shouldn’t depend on privilege.
Because surviving isn’t enough.
Because no one should face abuse alone.
We refuse to look away.

As we witness victims fighting to become empowered survivors and see systems of support

crumbling, together we will rise from the ashes.

We Are the Guardians.
