SOS Activation
Emergency SOS empowers survivors to instantly alert law enforcement, the Phoenix Command Center, and trusted contacts, while sharing their live location. Triggered by discreet voice command, tap, or phone shake, the alert is activated silently to avoid detection by an abuser. Fully integrated into Phoenix’s crisis response network, it ensures rapid, coordinated protection when every second counts.
Discreet Recording & Automatic Cloud Back Up
Secret Recording enables survivors to discreetly capture audio or video evidence using a hidden trigger. When the SOS feature is activated, recording begins automatically, ensuring no critical moment is lost during a crisis. All files are instantly uploaded to the cloud, protected from tampering or deletion. Fully integrated with the Phoenix platform, it provides secure, silent documentation without increasing risk to the survivor.
SafeRide & SafeHouse
SafeHouse connects survivors to nearby domestic violence shelters, partnered hotels, Airbnbs, and verified safe havens offering guaranteed, free lodging with no wait times. With just one tap, survivors will instantly secure a safe place to stay. SafeRide provides free, discreet transportation to these locations through trusted partners. With your support, we will expand these services to include Phoenix owned and operated Safehouses and Refuges; spaces built to ensure lasting safety, sovereignty, and empowerment for every survivor who walks through our doors.
Safety Check-ins& Smart Alerts
Daily check-ins and customizable alerts help survivors stay safely connected to trusted contacts and the Phoenix Command Center. Users can set discreet reminders to confirm their safety without drawing attention. If a check-in is missed, the app automatically notifies selected contacts with the user’s last known location and status. It’s a quiet, reliable safety net designed to catch signs of danger before it's too late.
Phoenix Legal Alliance
Our Free Legal Support feature will connect survivors with trauma-informed attorneys for confidential, compassionate guidance on urgent matters like restraining orders, custody, immigration, housing rights, and more. Through the Phoenix app, users will have access to pro bono legal assistance, secure consultations, and tailored legal resources, all without cost, judgment, or delay. Whether it’s navigating the legal system or standing strong in a courtroom, Phoenix will ensure survivors have a powerful ally every step of the way. Because safety and sovereignty should never depend on legal fees.
Free Mental Support
Mental health is not a luxury. It's a lifeline. Phoenix will connect survivors with licensed, trauma-informed therapists who specialize in domestic abuse, PTSD, and long-term recovery. Through the app, users will be able to schedule confidential, no-cost sessions designed to support both crisis intervention and the ongoing journey of healing. Every survivor will also be matched with a dedicated Phoenix Alliance Advocate; a trained expert who will offer personalized guidance, emotional support, and help navigating all available Phoenix features, from emergency escape planning to long-term empowerment. Together, therapy and advocacy will ensure survivors are never alone emotionally, legally, or logistically as the journey to sovereignty. Emotional support for survivors isn’t optional. It is foundational.
Guardian Legion™
Guardian Legion is Phoenix’s volunteer force, made up primarily of veterans and former military personnel trained in trauma-informed response. Each Guardian is thoroughly vetted and background-checked. They are only deployed at the survivor’s request—to provide a protective presence, escort, or immediate support until authorities arrive. The Guardian Legion is our promise that no survivor will ever face danger alone.
Phoenix Education Hub
The Phoenix Education Hub will empower survivors with clear, accessible tools to understand abuse and plan their escape, while also providing resources for long-term independence and empowerment. It will include interactive guides on recognizing warning signs, building personalized safety plans, and learning legal rights related to restraining orders, custody, and protection. Beyond legal education, the hub will offer financial literacy programs, career training, and guidance for pursuing further education. Survivors will also have access to resources for personal empowerment, including self-defense and martial arts training. Designed in plain language and available in multiple languages, this feature will help survivors make informed decisions safely and at their own pace.
Anonymous 24/7 Chat & Support
Anonymous Chat and Support will offer survivors a safe, judgment-free space to connect with trained domestic violence counselors 24/7. Users will be able to share their stories anonymously, seek advice, or simply be heard. With survivor-led forums and moderated community spaces, this feature will foster healing, support, and solidarity without ever revealing a name or identity.
Personal Case Manager
Phoenix will assign each survivor a personal case manager, a real person dedicated to their journey who stays by their side from day one. There will be no need to repeat their story to different agents or relive traumatic experiences. The personal case manager will know their story, specific needs, and goals. They will help with legal and therapist referrals, create safety plans, secure transportation and safe lodging, and coordinate every step so nothing slips through the cracks. Survivors will never be alone, just supported, understood, and empowered to move forward safely and on their own terms.
